In 2013, the House of Harry Winston acquired a remarkable 101.73 carat pear-shaped diamond– a stone so exquisite and rare it was called the “Winston Legacy.” Described by Christie’s auction house as “the most perfect diamond ever offered for sale at auction,” the flawless, colorless Winston Legacy underscores the House’s continued commitment to rare jewels of the world and honors its legacy as the “King of Diamonds.”
Discovered in Jwaneng Mine, in Botswana, the remarkable stone’s transformation from a 236-carat rough diamond to a perfectly polished pear-shaped gem took nearly two years to complete.
“The acquisition of the “Winston Legacy” underscores the brand’s continued commitment to perfection and quality at the highest level. A stone of this caliber and rarity is the perfect continuation of Mr. Winston’s legacy as the King of Diamonds.”
– Mrs. Nayla Hayek, Chief Executive Officer of Harry Winston –
